Sidewalk Displays

It looks like we might have reached the end of the good soaking that's been upon us, on and off, (and mostly on), the past few days. I was beginning to wonder if it would end...

This guy is ready, should the downpours continue...

But it did finally end, or at least taper off. The sun was making valiant attempts at a reappearance and the sky even cleared for a bit late in the afternoon, as we headed north...

But the clouds had the final say and moved back in, re-asserting their dominance for the week and hanging low above the countryside, as evening fell.

As we got into Northampton about eight thirty-ish or so, we found that tents have been set up all along Main St. There's a four day sidewalk sale going on, which begins today and goes on until Sunday.

Most of the stuff had been put away for the night, but some displays were still buzzing with activity.

It was such a nice warm night, we decided to go for a long walk around town.

The Academy of Music had some goings on this evening; the group She & Him was doing a stop on their tour....
