Springshine

Luckily the clouds finally broke open for a spell on Wednesday...

...and as they did, things lit up with what spring is all about: colors. The verdant greens that are finally filling in the countryside...

...and all the varying shades of red, purple, yellow, pink and white as life bursts open yet again.

And along with the warming weather, the cold memory of a long bitter winter just past is trounced and run out of the mind's eye.

Fleeting gifts to be enjoyed because before you know it...

...they're gone again...

Good post. It's like a little poem about the fickle spring.
