Union Buster

Another beauty of a day handed to us.

I managed to get in some more bicycling on the Rail Trail after work. Trying to undo the damage in the afternoon that I subject myself to in the morning:

Egg McMuffins should be under the jurisdiction of the D.E.A.

Daylight is getting scarcer each day. The new extended Daylight Savings Time should help a little though...

Either way, late afternoon always affords some good photo-ops.

We rode down to Wal-Mart and purchased a couple 35 cent bottles of water. That's right. 35 cents. What can you buy nowadays for 35 cents? It feels like 1977. Viva La Wal-Mart.

I know I shouldn't root for the mega-chain stores too much. Cheap goods on one hand, the demise of the Buffalo Farm on Rte. 9 to make room for a Home Depot(?) on the other hand.

It's a real catch-22.
