The rain has arrived, and in good measure. I headed out for a post-storm drive to the store, through flooded streets.
Going up Rte. 47, I found they have blocked off a part of the road.
A little reconnaissance ( hopped the barriers) revealed construction being done on a bridge over a swampy area of the route.
The detour proved to be a nice one, directing traffic through some South Hadley farmland. I stopped for some pics of the drenched countryside, around sunset...
Yep, definitely around sunset.
