Trickle Down Theory

Tuesday night was a mild one, by October standards. I headed out to Northampton for a late coffee and some picture taking, under the full "Hunter's Moon".

We had swung by briefly this past Sunday evening, after our bike ride in Holyoke, and found the streets were crazy with people.

All the stores, restaurants and bars were humming with activity. The financial crisis hasn't trickled down in any obvious way yet, at least there was no sign of it this past weekend.

Tuesday, on the other hand, was much quieter. Some pics for your perusal:

The night pics are great. I expect to see you in Amherst sometime when I'm coming home from a School Committee meeting that runs late. Wonder what you'll turn up in the little towns. Maybe an owl.
